Monkshill Farm forms part of the Royal School for Deaf Children Margate (now The John Townsend Trust). They are a real working farm that provides an educational resource for pupils and students. Most of the meat used in the hotel comes from Monkshill, and we are sponsoring the dinner as part of a fundraising campaign in order to be able to open a tearoom and butchery facility on their site.
