tel. 01843 222310 fax. 01843 222312 The Orangery, open daily for lunch and dinner, menus are entirely rewritten for each season – with minor tweaks in between to take account of good or poor growing conditions at our major vegetable suppliers, Nash Farm. Most of our meat is from Monks Hill farm, and our fish from the Margate boat or Romney Marsh fisheries.
Our bread is baked by Giovanni, and our eggs laid by chickens too numerous to name, living at Woodlands Farm!
Fruit now comes from Sunshine growers in Stodmarsh, from which we make our own Jams and preserves – and almost everything else!
Thursday night is FISH NIGHT and features locally caught fish. Phone Thursday morning to find out what came in on the Margate boat, or just come along. The Sea Bass have been wonderful this summer, and we now have a good supply of Dover Sole coming in, and local crabs!

Our Summer Sundays are like Sundays used to be! A leisurely breakfast, lunch from our hugely popular Carvery – or al fresco ; stroll across the road to a Sunday afternoon concert at the Victorian bandstand (some of the weekly concerts are decidedly modern!) and back for a cream tea on the patio.
